(Solved) - Microsoft word won't print out background color?
(7 posts)
Introduction to My Print Won't Print Excel Background Picture Excel has a pretty cool feature that allows you to insert a background image, that repeats infinitly, throughout the entire worksheet. The nice part is that 100% of the Excel worksheet is still fully functional.
The Paper swatch is meant to imitate your paper color for when you are printing to colored paper. It's like 'non-printing color' as in the resulting background is really transparent. In your example image, the 'white background' is just the background color of acrobat. Unfortunately, my printer does not let me print from indesign (it will crash the program or fail on the printer) so I can't be 100 percent sure this is from Indesign or Acrobat. My go to fixes were, are there invisible boxes over that portion of the background grunge image. PDF displays correctly in Adobe Reader, but doesn't print correctly. I am having the same problem printing as an image, it comes out grey (not helpful when trying.
I was wondering how do you print the background with microsoft word 2010? I want a background from my document. I insert my background but when I print it. The backgrounds white? Anyone know how to fix this?
By default, Microsoft Word does not print document backgrounds that you create by using the Background command on the Format menu. If you want to print document backgrounds, you can change this setting. To do so, click Options on the Tools menu. On the Print tab, select the Background colors and images check box. OR..from help within Word....Troubleshoot backgrounds and watermarks
1.My document background doesn't print.
Document backgrounds are designed to be viewed on the screen and not printed. The background that you create by using the Background command on the Format menu will not print. To add a printable background, borders, or shading to your page, use the Printed Watermark command (by pointing to Background on the Format menu) or the Borders and Shading command on the Format menu.
2.My document background is not displayed.
Microsoft Word displays document backgrounds in Web layout view only. To switch to Web layout view, click Web Layout on the View menu. If you want Word to display your document in Web layout view the next time the document is opened, save your document in this view before you close it.
Thanks A bunch Guys =) I love the person who made this website =D <3

Printing a PDF without its background can save you ink, which can save you money. Another reason you might want to remove the background from a PDF is so that you can print the file on paper with an existing image, such as your business stationary. One way you can do this is to hide the background layer, though not all PDFs with backgrounds have such layers. If you are printing a form, Adobe Reader allows you print its fields without the background. Another approach is to use an application capable of inserting a blank background in place of the original background.
Hide Background Layer
1.
Open a PDF file in Adobe Reader and click 'View | Show/Hide | Navigation | Layers' to reveal the Layers panel.
2.
Click the 'Eye' icon for the item named 'background' or something similar. This action hides the background.
PDF Forms
1.
Open a PDF form in Adobe Reader, then press 'Ctrl-P.'
2.
Click the 'Form Fields Only' item from the Comments and Forms control.
3.
Click 'Print' to print the form fields without the background.

3.
Run PdfEdit995 and then click the 'Create Stationary' button on the Stationary tab. Open the PDF that you want to print in Adobe Reader, and then print the PDF file to the 'PDF995' device. Close the document and return to PdfEdit995.
4.
Check the 'Place stationary in background' check box on the Stationary tab, then click the 'Impose stationary' button to insert the blank background you created. Print the PDF in Adobe Reader.
